Fever are one of Adelaide’s Most Entertaining Corporate and Wedding Party Cover Bands performing all the best hits from the 70’s and 80’s through to today!
This 6-piece outfit play’s the best songs from the 70’s, 80’s, soul, and dance songs through to today’s hits. With most members having 20 years experience in the music scene, Fever was formed mid 2008 with artists from popular Adelaide bands and performers from the Night Train Theatre. Fever generates a fantastic sound and along with a professional stage presence can get any crowd dancing.
Fever has performed for a variety of functions including: The Variety Club, Men’s Health – Port to Port Bike Rally, Community to Community Bushfire Appeal, Live at Light Square Christmas Show, Morphettville Function Centre, Adelaide Convention Centre, Clubs SA, Messenger Press, SA Taxi Golf Club, National Foods, Parafield Gardens Club Christmas Season, Para Hills Community Club, The Vines, Tea Tree Gully Golf Club…………………………. Over 200 shows.
Fever features Eddie & Christine on vocals who can wind up a crowd and their energetic performance is entertaining to watch as they work the dance floor and tear up the stage. The other members of the band consist of Mitch on drums, Marius on guitar, Phil on keyboards and Steve on bass. Together they produce a full live sound from screaming guitar to those classic 80’s keyboard sounds.
Fever can perform shows from small parties to larger corporate events. The “FEVER SHOW” incorporating costumed acts is also available if you would like something a little different. So if you need a little bit of soul, a little bit of disco and a whole lot of dancing for your next party or event, then get “FEVER”.
Christine – Vocals – Christine performed in Adelaide’s Night train theatre restaurant for over 15 years. In the end, Christine just wants the audience to have fun.
Ed – Vocals – Ed/Eddie is an Entertainer/Performer/MC and DJ – his passion for entertaining the audience and giving them an experience that is talked about post show, is equally matched with his high energy and charismatic personality. Ed also spent 7 years as a Performer/Host with Adelaide’s former Iconic Theatre Restaurant – Night Train – which adds to Fever’s versatility (And keeps FEVER on their toes at times!) Outside of FEVER, Ed loves hosting Trivia/Disco Bingo and Jamming with other Muso’s.
Mitch – Drums – Mitch has been playing drums for about 43 years and has been in around 28 bands. Mitch likes to play a variety of styles, jazz, funk, pop and dance and enjoys the odd glass of wine.
Dave – Guitar – Dave has been playing guitar since his TV debut at the age of 13. Dave has lost count of the bands that he has played with, original and cover bands, ranging from heavy metal, blues and party bands. Dave has played with Fever for 7 years and is back after touring the Edinburgh Fringe with Janis Joplin Tribute band. His key influences, are The Shadows, Van Halen, Ted Nugent and Gary Moore.
Steve – Bass – Steve has been playing bass since he was 16 and has played in array of well known bands over the years including: “Juicy Bits” and “UK Blitz” where he performed on Rock the Boat 7. He was a founding member of “Chunky Custard” and toured nationally with them releasing two albums . Steve also performed with “Elvis to the Max” in theatre’s both nationally and overseas. Steve just loves to entertain, having fun by adding funk to the
Phil – Keyboards – Phillip twinkle fingers Ball, has been playing keyboards for 40 years and played in bands such as a “9 piece voice’s”, a soul band called “Soul Town”, a rock band. “Emerald” just to name a few. Phil also plays in a Blondie Tribute called – “Atomic”
